A new art trail has transformed Manchester’s windows and spaces into an ‘open air’ art gallery which takes you on a creative journey around the city – while complying with lockdown restrictions.
50 Windows of Creativity, created by Wild in Art in partnership with Manchester City Council, handed dozens of street spaces and windows to artists, designers, makers and collectives with a connection to Greater Manchester.
The self-guided art trail features a downloadable map and app for people to follow.
All pieces on display will be available to buy directly from the artist or maker so it’s a great opportunity to own an original piece of art or find unique gifts for friends and family.
The project culminates with an auction which will see a selection of pieces auctioned with proceeds going to their artists and makers, and to The Lord Mayor of Manchester Charity Appeal Trust – We Love MCR Charity which aims to help improve the lives and life chances of Manchester people.
