Free 60+ safer driver seminar in Salford

Safer Roads GM are hosting a new free event for over 60s to promote confidence behind the wheel.

The seminar in Salford on Tuesday 14 June 2022 will be presented by road safety professionals and will include exhibitions and advice from local services such as Greater Manchester Police, National Highways, TfGM, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service and many more.

A wealth of information will be provided as well as lunch and refreshments and is the first free event of its kind from Safer Roads GM.

The seminar will also be an opportunity for individuals to sign-up for the free Safer Driving for Longer courses where the attendee will be involved in a two hour classroom based discussion then a two hour driving on-road coaching session.

It will also promote other ways to travel for those thinking of giving up their car.

Date: Tuesday 14th June 2022, 10:00am-2:00pm

Venue: AJ Bell Stadium, 1 Stadium Way, Barton-Upon-Irwell, Eccles, M30 7EY (with free parking).
