Have you been involved in ageing research, or are you curious about the difference it can make?
Anyone aged 50 or over living in Greater Manchester is invited to join the online webinar which will explore commonly held views and barriers about getting involved with such projects.
The session will run on Thursday, 6 May, from 10.15am to 12.30pm and will be hosted on Zoom by Greater Manchester’s Older People Network, in partnership with Manchester University’s Healthy Ageing Research Group.
The GMOPN was first established in 2015 as part of the Ambition for Ageing Programme and has grown to over 430 members since.
Over the past five years, they have been working with their network to ensure as many older people as possible from across Greater Manchester have the opportunity to get their voices heard.
The event will be discussing what work has been done so far and is also inviting participants to share their thoughts or ask questions if they wish.
