Swing dancing at Lou Lou’s Vintage Fair Manchester

Our reporter Dorretta enjoyed a fashion filled day out at Lou Lou’s Manchester Vintage Fair on May 21 situated in the beautiful Manchester Cathedral – and even got her dancing shoes on!

The hall was packed with vintage women’s wear, menswear, jewellery, collectables and home wares sourced from far and wide by specialist independent traders.

Swing North dance company helped bring the room to life with 1930s dancing and music.

Lou Lou’s vintage fair frequently tours around the UK with a £2.50 entrance fee and specialises in pieces from the 1920s to the 1980s, bringing a tea-room, live music and a pop-up salon to each event.

The company has been running for 15 years and attracts hundreds of eagle-eyed bargain hunters to each fair.
