The Female Revolution: Helen Louise Adams on age not being a barrier

Our community reporter Mark Quinn has chatted exclusively with Coach, Speaker and Author, Helen Louise Adams – Global Leader of the Female Business Revolution.

Have you ever dreamed of running your own business or being top of your game in the corporate world oozing entrepreneurial spirit?

Well, let me introduce you to Helen Louise Adams. This 54-year-old Manchester business lady is just that, her enthusiasm and positive look on life keeps this go-getter going.

But it’s not always been like that; Helen has been on the edge a few times and she could have packed it all in, but this lady believes that age is no barrier when it comes to building the lifestyle you want, “You can achieve anything if you put your mind to it,” she says. “And do I want to? HELL YES!”

A few years ago Helen had just left a job as a primary school teacher and wanted a new challenge, whilst out shopping she popped into a well-known Manchester book store.

Browsing through the thousands of titles one book stood out, at first Helen just kept on looking and then decided to leave the store but this book was imprinted on her mind; she found herself turning around and walking back to the book-shelf, she picked up the paperback and she knew in her heart of hearts that this was what she wanted to do – the book in hand was ‘Be Your Own Life Coach’, the rest as they say, is history.

Helen started her business ‘Female Business Revolution’ and built up her clientele quickly by helping women of all ages create their dream lifestyle without hustle and burnout, with her guidance and their enthusiasm being the building blocks.

I asked Helen what she does in her busy life to reduce stress and keep this 50+ entrepreneur buzzing: “I like to meditate every day for about 10 to 20 minutes and I’m very big on journaling, writing things down and getting them out of my head.

“I also love to walk; I live near the canal and believe in keeping fit and active because we are not getting any younger, are we?!”

Helen also can play the piano and that is her favourite form of relaxation.

Helen believes that the key to keeping going is finding out what sets your soul alight, what makes you tick and finding out truly who you are. Once you know the answers to these questions that is where you start.

Helen has big plans for her business and her life and wants to help over 300 female entrepreneurs reach their goals. And for herself? She would like a beautiful beach-front home in Brazil.

This fantastic woman’s mission is to empower, inspire and help millions of women around the world reach their goals. Helen proudly says, “I’m 54 and from Manchester.”
