The (Vintage) show must go on!

The radio hosts of ALL FM’s Vintage FM show relaunch in lockdown – thanks to the power of technology.

Don Berry and Mike Bath usually host the Vintage FM radio show – aimed at shining a spotlight on stories affecting over 50s in Manchester – every Tuesday 10-11am on AllFM 96.9 radio station.

Thanks to video conferencing technology the team is back on the air, with their shows being recorded at home and available to listen to live on www.allfm.org as well as 96.9FM.

Don Berry, 70 from Didsbury, said “Lockdown has presented a few challenges, but we know how important radio is to reach those parts of the community that cannot access the internet – including a large population of older people – so we’re really pleased to be able to broadcast to people’s homes and connect with people when they most need it.”

“Mike and I are especially grateful to Jason and Ed, who lead the ALLFM team – they’ve done a fantastic job keeping the ship afloat”

“We have some really exciting guests planned – from Age Friendly Manchester’s Paul McGarry on May 12th to hopefully Mayor Andy Burnham in the future.”

Tune into the show on 96.9FM every Tuesday at 10am or listen on the website: https://allfm.org/
