Did you miss the live streaming of Salford’s 10th annual music festival? Well, you are in for a treat!
Proud Salfordian, bassist Peter Hook, showcased some Joy Division classics with his band The Light – with an interesting stage setting that saw him emerge from a portable toilet.
The set is available to watch as a special social distanced 30-minute performance on YouTube. So get ready to rock out in your kitchen.
Usually held in the pubs and clubs of Salford, this year’s Salford Music Festival was re-invented as a three-day online showcase of live music, DJs, and spoken word performances in response to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
Other famous Salfordians also on the bill over the weekend of May 29-May 31, were Graham Nash, John Cooper Clarke, and Ren Harvieu.
